Enterprise People allows employee data to be managed centrally by your organization's administrators. As a result, some some people management features that are available in standard Poppulo accounts are not available to users in account managed by Enterprise People.
Use the
Upload to Tag feature when you need to apply a tag to a specific group of people who cannot be identified using a Saved Search. By uploading a list of employee email addresses or employee IDs, you can apply a tag to existing people records in a single action. Once the tag has been applied, you can use it to target people in communications and to filter reporting results.
Note: Upload to Tag does not create new people records or update employee data. It can only be used to apply a tag to people who already exist in your Enterprise People directory.When uploading to a tag, you can:
- Upload employees using either an email address or employee ID.
- Download a sample CSV file showing the required format.
- Download a list of any employee records that could not be matched and tagged.
To Upload to Tag:
Note: The Instructions below apply only to a Sub-account opted in to Enterprise People.

In the People area, choose Tags from the menu on the left.

Select the Upload to Tag button.
- Enter a New or Existing Tag Name and choose a .CSV file to upload. Select Upload to Tag Now to complete the action.
Note: As this feature is used to add your People to a tag, your file must be a single column CSV file containing the email addresses of employees already available to your Sub-account. You cannot import new People or data using this feature.
- When the import is complete you can review the results of your upload.
- Total Records: The total number of records that were found in this file. Please note that blank fields and all columns other than the first are ignored.
- Tagged: The number of People the Tag has been added to. Please note that if the same employees appeared in the file multiple times, then they will be counted here more than once.
- Not Tagged: The number of employees the Tag has not been added to. You can view the records not tagged by downloading the list available above the results.
