The Layout View

The layout view is a new view found at the top of your screen when you edit or preview an email. The layout view lets you manage the components in your emails (adding a two column article component instead of a single article for example). Access the layout view using the button below.

Note: This view is only available for users with the User Role 'Editor'.



Choose between the Cover Page and Article Page.

Then, add pre-built components to your email using the instructions below.

Note: Editing the Article Page will effect the microsite back page for any articles you've added to your Newsletter. 

The layout view allows you to:

 

To Add a Component to your Email:

  1. Choose a drag and drop page element.

  2. Drag and drop your element into your email.

  3. The article component has been added to the template above the feature article.

To Drag and Drop a Component:

  1. Click and hold the bar on top of a component.

  2. Move your component to the desired location in your email.

    Note: The two column article component has been moved below the feature article. 

     

To Delete a Component in your Email:

  1. Click the delete icon on the component you wish to delete.

  2. Click Remove to delete the component.

To Show or Hide a Section Icon or Title:

  1. At the top of your section you'll see the show and hide toggle.

  2. Click to display the Title. (If a strike appears through the eye icon, it will display in your template.)

  3. The Section Title can now be edited in the Edit screen.
     

To Reset your Layout:

  1. In the top right corner of the layout view, click 'Reset'.

  2. This will reset your layout to its original state. 

    Note: Toggles set to display or hide section titles and icons will not reset.
