People in your Poppulo account can become inactive during a routine data cleanup, due to emails bouncing, when removed by an Administrator or if the employee opts out. Inactive People will not receive your communications and will need to be reactivated before they can receive emails again. For employees that have opted out, they will need to opt back in, otherwise you can forward their written request to Poppulo Support. For employees that have been made inactive by the Admin or the Bounce Manager, you can follow the instructions below to reactivate them.
To Reactivate your People:
Go to the People area and click 'Import People'.
- Enter the email addresses (or downloaded .csv) of the employees you'd like to reactivate.
Note: You can Target Unsubscribed People and download them as a list to be used in this step.
In the Advanced Options, use the checkboxes to choose the the type of people you'd like to reactivate. Then, click 'Next' to continue the import as normal.
Note: From our example, we will check the 'Reactivate people previously removed by Administrator' checkbox as the inactive reason is "Admin".
When your import is complete, you can verify the update of your employees on the final page. They will now be active People.
Note: It's important to View the Results of your People Import to ensure that all employees were imported/updated as planned.
